As some tenants at the MLK apartments have recently expressed interest in creating a tenant association, THA is holding a meeting to explain the process of creating an association, and the steps tenants should take to get one started.
Tenants from other sites are welcome to come to learn more about tenant associations.
Tenant associations can organize and provide activities and events for residents, like community dinners or children’s programs. There are funds allocated to tenant associations for these activities. Events and activities like these can help bring tenants together and strengthen neighborhoods.
