PUBLIC NOTICE

In accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines, the Troy Housing Authority is required to offer opportunity for resident and public comment whenever changes are made to the Section 8 Administrative Plan and Residential Dwelling Lease. The Troy Housing Authority is proposing to make changes to these documents in anticipation of a conversion to the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Program.

Draft versions of these documents are available for review on the Troy Housing Authority website (see links below). A Public Hearing to discuss these proposed changes is scheduled on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 4:30PM at the Troy Housing Authority’s Administrative Offices, 1 Eddy’s Lane, Troy, New York. Comments on the documents may also be sent to info@troyhousing.org. Comments received by April 2, 2018 will be compiled and presented to the board before action is taken on these items at the April 5, 2018 board meeting. Persons interested in attending the Public Hearing to offer comment should call the Department of Planning and Program Development at (518) 273-3600 ext. 221 to assure the availability of sufficient hard copies.
