PUBLIC NOTICE

The Troy Housing Authority is announcing a public comment period relative to proposed changes to the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan. The revised Administrative Plan is available for review at www.troyhousing.org (through the link below) and hard copies are available at the Troy Housing Authority Administrative Offices (1 Eddy’s Lane, Troy, New York 12180). Written comments regarding the Administrative Plan may be sent to the Attention of the Director of Planning and Program Development at the Troy Housing Authority Administrative Offices or emailed to info@troyhousing.org. There will also be a Public Hearing to receive comments on the Administrative Plan at the Troy Housing Authority Administrative Offices on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 5:00PM.

The Administrative Plan addresses Tenant Based Vouchers and Project Based Vouchers, including residents in Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) apartments. In accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines, the Troy Housing Authority is required to offer opportunity for resident and public comment whenever changes are made to the Section 8 Administrative Plan. The Troy Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will vote on the adoption of the revised Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the Troy Housing Authority Administrative Offices.
