SENATORS SCHUMER & GILLIBRAND Announce $1 Million for the Troy Housing Authority to Revitalize Taylor 3&4 Apartment Towers
Funding will go toward the demolition of the old Taylor 3 & 4 apartment towers and site preparation to allow for the development of 250+ units of affordable housing for families and 35,400 square feet of community and commercial space.

In addition to the HAI Group scholarships and NYSPHADA scholarship, Cannon Heyman & Weiss (CHW) Scholarship Fund will award three scholarships totaling $17,000 to students living in affordable housing this year. This includes students living in public housing or Section 8 housing.

The programs include “Active Parents Now,” for parents of children ages 5-12; “Active Parenting Teen,” for parents of children ages 10-17; and “Strengthening Families,” for families with children ages 10-14.
