Martin Luther King Apartments is a family development of the Troy Housing Authority consisting mainly of apartments for larger families. The site consists of 83 townhome style apartments and the former Eddy Family Mansion which provides offices for Troy Housing Authority administration and a maintenance garage.
MLK Apartments has recently completed renovations to update indoor and outdoor living spaces. MLK Apartments now feature a full basketball court, multiple playground areas and more greenspace. MLK Apartments feature 7 Laundry rooms and a Children’s Program/Community Center named the Lodge located in the center of the property. MLK Apartments is several blocks from the Capital District Transportation Authority bus depot and it is located on a picturesque hill near Frear Park and golf course.
